Super Simple Purse Tote

IMG_8145This adorable little purse-like tote doesn’t require an embossing machine and dies or any other type of crafting tool. It simply comes together with paper, scoring and adhesive.

What makes this particular project so amazing is the gorgeous Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper and the sublime Watermelon Wonder 1″ Stitched Satin Ribbon. Both of these lovelies are from our current Occasions Catalog. I can’t say enough about this ribbon.  The color, feel and weight is amazing. Yum!

Dimension: 12″ x 6-1/2″ (or adjust to 6″ to get two from one sheet)
Score: Long side: 3/4″, 4-3/8″, 6-3/8″, and 10″; Short side; 1-1/4 and 5-1/4″

Don’t forget our Sale-A-Bration (SAB) special going on now through March 31st. For every $50 of product you purchase, you receive a FREE item from the SAB catalog. 1. Amy, your little tote bag is beautiful! This DSP is devine, perfect for this bag. Can you tell me what size DSP you used? Super adorable project, thanks for sharing!

  2. Thanks Kathy. I had the DSP dimensions and score lines in my video but I have since posted them on my blog too. I actually started with a 12 x 6-1/2 piece of DSP because that’s what I had left from a sheet. But you can use 12 x 6 and simply have a smaller turn-down flap at the top.
