Video – Ghosting Technique with Remarkable You

IMG_6038First off, can I say how much I like the pairing of Pear Pizzazz and Eggplant Envy? Wow! They are sooooo beautiful together! Yummy!

But I digress … The real focus of today’s card is the Ghosting Technique. It really is quite easy. You simply stamp the image first with Stampin’ Up!’s White Craft Pad. After allowing the Craft Ink to dry, you then stamp it again with a Classic Ink color but slightly offset from the first image. That’s it! The video tutorial below will show how easy it is to create this shadowy, ghostly effect.

The bow
I used just three inches of our new and fabulous 1-1/4″ White Jute Ribbon. I pinched the middle together and wrapped Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the center to secure it. I then added a pop of glamour with one of our new Metal Rimmed Pearls. I attached it to the card with a Glue Dot.

The Starburst Greeting
I used Crazy About You for the greeting. The words are on separate stamps so I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to stack the two stamps in place. For a tutorial on how to create a starburst with the 1-3/4″ Scallop Punch, go here.
