Celebrate Today with Balloon Framelits

What’s better than a hand-stamped birthday card for 17 year old boys?

A hand-stamped mini paper sack with cold cash inside!!!

celebrate02Yep! That’s what I’m talkin’ about. At least, that’s what our twin boys were interested in when they turned 17 earlier this month.

They probably would have been happy had we just left the cash on the kitchen counter that morning. But the rubber stamper in me couldn’t do that. No way! There had to be some sort of stamping involved… And multiple hellium balloons … And fresh doughnuts from Dunkin Donuts on their celebration plates… 🙂

Stampin’ Up! offers awesome bundles, like the Celebrate Today/Balloon Framelit Bundle I used here.  When you purchase the bundle, as opposed to purchasing the two items individually, you get a savings of 15%. You can’t beat that!

On a side note, this momma wants to know …

How did our “babies” go from this

to this so fast???

  1. Wow, Amy! It does seem like yesterday. What handsome young men they’ve grown into! I have to admit, when I started reading your post I thought “my 16 years old boys wouldn’t be that stoked about a handstamped card…” but THEN I saw the cash. Yes, that IS what I’m talkin’ about!

  2. Amy, we have two sons as well and I keep asking the same question. How did they grow up so fast? I am also asking myself, who is that old woman in the mirror? Where did she come from? Love the cards you made for their special day. My boys love my cards and have a collection that I have seen them save. Those little baby boys are still there in those manly bodies.

  3. Amy – love this project but really love the reality that your boys would likely enjoyed just cash handed to them. This is so much more special, I’m sure. What great pictures of your family!
