Happy Memorial Day! I hope you had a great day with family and friends. I had the incredible gift of being able to spend the day with my husband and children. Many blessings to those families who could not; who lost a family member during his or her service in the military. Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice.
In a previous post I did the heat embossing for this project. Today I’ll be putting the whole thing together.
The leading star in this project is the Top Note Bigz Die – which is on our Retiring List. Eek! You have until June 2nd to order your own. You can do so NOW by using my Shop Now button on the right sidebar of my blog. If you miss the opportunity, you can create this by simply using two pieces of cardstock measuring 3-1/2 x 4-1/2 and rounding the corners with our Project Life Corner punch, # 135346.
Stampin’ Up! has cute paper sacks that are flat. For this project, however, I wanted a gusseted sack so that the finished item looked more like a purse. I picked these up at Michaels. They measure 3-1/2″ x 7″ and come in a variety of colors. I used the kraft sacks for this project but here’s a picture of their white sacks.
