I finally had a chance to play with this set of thinlits for the first time. I consider this my “warm up.”
For this card, I cut the letters out of the Whisper White cardstock which allows the DSP adhered underneath to peek through. The white cardstock was embossed beforehand with the Decorative Dots embossing folder to coordinate with the polka dots in the DSP.
To add a little flair, I draped strands of organza ribbon and silver taffeta ribbon over the Calypso Coral piece of cardstock, adhering them in place with tape on the backside. The white panel was glued on top of the Calypso Coral piece of cardstock and then that whole ensemble was popped up with dimensions on top of the white base card. A simple bow was adhered at the top with a glue dot.
While I typically use the magnetic platform with my Big Shot when using metal dies, I found the standard platform worked best with the Little Letter dies. I placed the letter dies where they needed to go and then secured them in place by using a sticky note on top as “tape” before running it through the Big Shot.
