Coloring Designer Series Paper

dspI’ve been having fun playing with Stampin’ Up!’s Lovely Romance stamp set. And there is no better embossing folder to accompany it than Beautifully Baroque. Yum!

The DSP (Designer Series Paper) I used here is from the Moonlight Paper Stack. This particular sheet has a Lost Lagoon background with white rain drops. Because I was in need of a DSP that would tie together the Hello Honey ribbon and Smokey Slate cardstock with the Lost Lagoon and Hello Honey stamped image, I decided to color the white drops.

Using our markers resulted in colors that were too dark. In the end I used our Aqua Painters and ink pads. That created more muted colors that I felt were more appropriate for the overall design.

Thanks for stopping by today. It’s always a joy to share my love of rubber stamping with all of you!
