This was a fun one to make. I played along with the current Freshly Made Sketches Challenge and this came together quickly. Don’t you love when that happens? Of course I switched the basic design upside down so that I could feature a sun, but that’s fair. Right? 🙂
Large Polka Dots Embossing Folder:
Many of you, like me, may have just ordered this fabulous embossing folder as a Sale-A-Bration freebie. I’ve used it several times in the last few days. It’s a new love of mine. What project couldn’t use some big dots?
Brights Color Collection DSP:
More polka dots – just tinier ones. The Daffodil Delight sheet with dots in this big DSP Collection was just the ticket to add another colorful, polka-dotty element to this card.
Nope. I didn’t have candy dots in Daffodil Delight, so I created my own. Did I fool your discerning eye? I show you how I created these in the video tutorial to follow.
Edit: In my tutorial I refer to the oval punch as Large Scallop Oval Punch which is incorrect. It’s, in fact, the “Large Oval Punch.” The second punch I use is the Scallop Oval Punch.
