A Tisket, a Tasket a Very Simple Basket

tasketbasket01 With Easter quickly approaching, I was especially intrigued with this super cute and simple paper basket that I saw featured by Karen Hallam at Karen’s Blog. I quickly whipped out my Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Papers and made a few of my own.

tasketbasket02Believe it or not, this magnitude of cuteness came from just a scant 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP. With two score lines, four quick snips, two simple folds and the attachment of a handle, you’re done!

In addition to Easter, I see these being used as place cards at a table setting for any occasion. They would be great as party and shower favors too!

Thanks for stopping by Amy’s Inklings! Don’t forget about our Sale-A-Bration event that’s going on now through March 31st. For every $50 of product that you purchase from our Annual and Occasions catalogs, you can choose a FREE item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog – such as the Best Year Ever DSP used here and the Simply Wonderful Stamp set used for the basket on the left at the top of this post.

If you don’t have a copy of our new Occasions or Sale-A-Bration catalogs, please leave me a message. I’ll be happy to send copies to you.

    • I used the Simply Scored Scoring Tool but you can also use the scoring blade on our Trimmer which I would highly recommend you getting. The trimmer is on page 216 and it comes with both a cutting and a scoring blade.
