Thank You Tree for CAS(E) This Sketch!

split-treeCTS_Sketch_112This was a fun sketch challenge by CAS(E) This Sketch! I did a little heat embossing and then got to dress my card up with rhinestones, silver ribbon and one of Stampin’ Up!’s new Something Borrowed Embellishments. Aren’t these jewels gorgeous? Oo la la!

The first thing I did was to butt the Soft Sky and Pear Pizzaz cardstock pieces together and fastened them with tape on the backside. The two cardstock pieces coming together created what I’ll refer to as the “dividing line.”

Next, I stamped the tree with Versamark making sure the limbs were above the dividing line and the trunk was below it. I heat embossed the image with clear embossing powder.

Then I stamped the Thank You greeting. Because Watercolor Thank You is only available on a wood block, I used our Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to make sure the two words were going to be dissected by the diving line. I heat embossed that with white embossing powder.

And lastly, I added the bling of the rhinestones, silver ribbon and Something Borrowed Embellishment. May I remark again how pretty these embellishments are? Sooooo divine!
