“Celebrate Today” is right!!!! Today is THE day that our magnificent Sale-A-Bration (SAB) event begins and the catalog goes live!!! WOO HOO!!! If you’re new to Stampin’ Up! and aren’t familiar with all that is fabulous about SAB, go here for all the details. In a nutshell, it means “freebies” for YOU for every $50 of product that you order
And there’s more … Our new Occasions catalog goes live today too. It. Is.Magnificent!!!
If you would like a copy of these catalogs, leave me a message and I will be happy to send them to you.
I was on school break these last 2-1/2 weeks and had the opportunity to stamp and play to my hearts content with many of our new products. You’ve seen some sneak peeks since December 23rd. And here’s another …
I saw this card on Pinterest by Stampin Up! demonstrator Amanda Hertz. See her card here. I was drawn to the interesting angle of the Whisper White cardstock. Do you ever look at someone’s project and think, “How cool is that?!!!” Yep. That was me. So I had to CASE it (Copy And Share Everything). And with Amanda’s ok, I’m sharing it with all of you.
Amanda used our new Best Year Ever DSP. It’s one of the items in our SAB catalog so you could get it for FREE! I used Birthday Bash DSP from the Occasions catalog. Both DSPs are fresh, bright, playful and incredibly yummy. I love the colors!
The stamp set and coordinating framelits are Celebrate Today and Balloon Framelits Die, both offered in a Bundle which is a 15% cost savings when you purchase them together – which is what I did. Of course I had an additional 20% discount since I’m a SU! demonstrator. If you would like our products at a 20% discount*, talk to me. 🙂
How to get multiple colors with one stamp:
I colored the pennants with our water-based Stampin’ Write markers. After coloring each pennant a different color, I huffed on the stamp to remoisten the ink and stamped. Our markers can be purchased as a Color Collection (Brights, Subtles, Regals, Neutrals or In-Color) or you can get all 38 colors in our Many Marvelous Markers set.
The pennants were then cut out using the Balloon Framelits Dies and Big Shot.
Don’t have any of our nifty Candy Dots like the ones Amanda used?
Looking for a purpose for your DSP scraps?
Our Candy Dots are pretty nifty. Bright, shiny, perfect … But I don’t have any of these colors in my arsenal either. So the next best thing is to use your 1/8″ circle punch and scraps of your desired colored cardstock. Punch out little circles and adhere with our Multipurpose Liquid Glue. You can also use Glue Dots if you want a little dimension.
And don’t throw away those precious DSP paper scraps. You can use them to create all kinds of embellishments. You can also use them to dress up your envelope as I did above.
Note: This is a Photopolymer stamp set. As such, it requires a clear block. I used Clear block “D” and “G”.
If you are interested in hosting a Stampin’ Up! event or if you’re interested in becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator*, I’d love to hear from you!
