Yesterday I posted this same card and described how I came up with the overall design concept. You can see that post here. Today, however, I’m focusing only on how I made the flower with Stampin’ Up!’s White Simply Pressed Clay and our Buttons and Blossoms Simply Pressed Mold.
If you haven’t played with this incredibly, yummy-feeling “awesomeness” you need to order a pack immediately. In addition to making buttons and flowers with our molds, you can also make Christmas Tree ornaments and gift tags!!! Just press your favorite stamp into a smooshed ball of clay and use a straw to punch a hole at the top. You can leave it white or color your creations using one of the methods described below.
To follow is a video tutorial on how to use our Simply Pressed Clay and the Buttons and Blossoms Simply Pressed Molds. I also suggest two ways to color the clay. I hope you enjoy my suggestions and feel the urge to “play” with your own Simply Pressed Clay and Molds.
