A Little Whimsy with Flower Patch

turkey So, for whatever reason, one of the first things that came to mind when I got the Flower Patch/Flower Fair Framelit die bundle was “turkey feathers.” I dunno, it’s just the way I’m wired. Part of the fun of being a rubber stamper for me is to look for the unobvious (is that a word?). “How can I stretch this set to create something completely different than its intention?” And so my mind’s eye saw turkey feathers. turkey

The entire body of the the turkey was made with these four framelits and two stamps. And with our Alphabet Rotary Stamp, the greetings you can create our endless.

The hubs got into the action and helped inspire this next little creature. googlyKevin knew I wanted to incorporate a googly eye so he suggested something along the line of a minion. I LOVE how it turned out. It makes me laugh!

I hope these inspire you to think outside the box. I’d love to know how YOU are using your stamp sets to create something “unobvious.”

  1. Very clever, and the Googly Moogly is my favorite! Adding on to the Googly Moogly discussion, “Great Googly Moogly” is what a nice creature says on one of those kids educational cartoons called Maggie and the ferocious beast.
