For All Things – Day One

One of my all-time favorite stamp sets in our Holiday Catalog is For All Things.  It’s one of those special stamp sets that “keeps on giving.”  In other words, the longer I “play” with it, the more possibilities I discover.  And I’ve been fascinated to see what other stampers are creating with it too!  I’ve been so enthralled, that I’ve stamped exclusively with it over the last several days.  That being said, this will be the first of four posts that I’ll make with this special gem of a set.



How to create the Cajun Crazed tipped leaves: After inking the leaf stamp in Old Olive, “rock” the edges on a Cajun Craze ink pad.  In other words, roll the stamp around  so that only the outer edge of the stamp picks up the second ink.  Then stamp as usual.
Note: If you plan to stamp more than one image this way, clean your stamp before inking it again.  You don’t want to transfer the remaining Cajun Craze ink from your stamp to your Old Olive pad.

Creating a starburst with our 1-3/4″ Scallop Punch: Punch a scallop out of Old Olive cardstock.  Adhere the scallop to the sticky side of a sticky note so that the scallop can be punched again.  Line up the punch so that the points of the scallop are centered in the middle of each bump of the scallop.  Then punch again.scallop01scallop02scallop03
