Happy Halloween with Holiday Homes

It was a fun, spooky evening in my craft room last night (insert ghost sounds and werewolves howling).halloween01

How FUN is this stamp set??? And this is just one of the many looks you can create with Holiday Home, a new stamp set featured in the Holiday Catalog.

Fall scenes, Halloween, Thanksgiving, wintry scenes and Christmas can be created with these three houses and the whimsical images that come with them. And an added bonus is the coordinating Homemade Holiday Framelit Dies, also available as a Bundle with the stamp set.

Creating the houses: Stamp the houses with StazOn Jet Black Ink on both Smoky Slate and Hello Honey cardstock. Cut the Smoky Slate houses out using the Framelit Dies or with our Paper Snips. Cut out the windows from the Hello Honey houses with our Paper Snips and glue them, lopsided, on top of the windows of the gray houses to create the “haunted house” look.

Creating the mist: Using a sponge, swirl the Night Of Navy cardstock with our Craft Stampin’ Ink Pad. Elevate the swirls in one area to create the appearance of the mist rolling in.

The ghosts and moon were stamped on Whisper White and Hello Honey cardstock. These elements seemed too bright and cheery for the night scene as is so I lightly sponged both with black ink.

The greeting is stamped on the Tangelo Twist Stitched Satin Ribbon.
